Hello and welcome — I’m Stefanis Michailidi, an author of emotional family fiction, young adult novels, and children’s picture books that explore the heart of growing up.

I live in sunny Greece with my husband and our two boys, who fill our days with noise, joy, and constant inspiration. As a writer, I’m drawn to the beauty and complexity of family life — how relationships shape us, how we navigate love and loss, and how identity is formed in the quiet and messy moments in between.

Writing, for me, is a way of capturing the beauty and complexity of growing up — that delicate bridge between innocence and discovery.

My books span age groups, but always center on connection, emotion, and discovery.
From imaginative picture books that introduce young children to big feelings, to heartfelt YA stories about identity, grief, and self-discovery — every story begins with something true.
